The Black Cannabis Blog
Meet me where you Are
This Morning my coffee consists of Gelatto and Candy Cake. And I am going to spark this right about…..now!
Most days I don’t start my day with an inhale of the good plant but, today started around 5 am and as of my typing this? I have already gotten through 90 precent of my tedious tasks for the day. Which is quite the early accomplishment. It’s also my Podcast recording Day for Born In Trouble. My barely acceptable weekly conversation with my friends. So I always schedule this day a bit different.
So we are talking Cannabis, right?
Working the BuyBlackCannabis culture means focusing on partnership, education and finance. But should all of your partnerships be race based? Or as my Brothers might say. “Are you working with Devils too”? I need my laugh emoji to write this.
Cannabis is not about drawing out the demons in us. That’s the movie Reefer Madness talking! I don’t think the stats have ever been collected but my guess would be more homicides have probably been committed while under the influence of Alcohol or harder drugs than the sweet sticky buds. And I have shared enough blunts communally(something I do not do anymore), to know that most smokers are of the same tribe. And lets be honest. We all have a common frenemy in Big Business. Tobacco and Pharmaceutical companies whose main goal is to control the Hemp and Cannabis market at all costs! And how does that saying go? The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Most independents and moderately successful growers advocates of Cannabis started with good intentions. Cure or help cancer patients and survivors. PTSD sufferers and those with chronic pain. And cute stoners who they want to get to know better! Cause some times its as simple as having a good time and there is nothing wrong with that! But when it comes to the preservation of the Cannabis culture? I much more trust the Beatnick in the VW Van than the guy representing the same companies supporting and funding anti-hemp, Delta and Cannabis regulation to squeeze the little guy out the market. While trying to secure overpriced licenses to keep the illegal producer and grower looking to go legit? Illegal.
So on this creative workday I am going to bid you a good one. Get ready to plan my Cannabis podcast to be forenamed. And looking forward to featuring more about products featuring melanated producers and distributors of them. But the tent is wide and deep!
Respect The Culture.
Respect The Plug.
